We warmly welcome well behaved children 12 years of age and older.  Please call the Ocean Grove Chamber of Commerce at (732) 774-1391 for a list of inns that accept children under 12 years old. 

Please do not ask us to make exceptions to this rule.  If you book a room online or over the phone and do not disclose that you have children under 12 years of age, you will not be permitted to stay and will not be entitled to a refund.  We do not want to see that happen.  (This means that we cannot accept infants, toddlers, and children that have not yet reached 12 years of age.)  Thank you for understanding.



All of our rates are based on double occupancy.  Each additional guest in the same guest room is charged an additional $20 per person per night.  We will not exceed the maximum occupancy set for our rooms. 

Please do not book a room with a maximum occupancy of 2 and arrive with 3 guests.  We cannot accommodate you and we will not offer you a refund.  We do not offer cots.


Payment in full is made at time of reservation

Payment in full will be collected at time of reservation.  We accept cash, Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover card.  Please make changes and cancelation within the 7 day cancelation policy enumerated below to receive a full refund.


If booking Room 1 or Room 14 online for more than two (2) people, the additional $20 per person, per night, plus tax will be collected at check in.


Cancelation Policy

Please note that as of June 10, 2017 our cancelation policy has changed.  In order to better accommodate our guests, we no longer have a 14 day cancelation policy.  


New Policy:  We have a 7 day cancelation policy.  We need notice by 12 noon seven days prior to the day of check in or you will forfeit one night's stay.  No Shows are not treated as cancelations and forfeit the entire amount of their stay. 


We have a strict adherence to this policy and cannot make exceptions.  Please do not ask.  Please note that a $4 cancelation fee will apply.  No refunds/cancelations/changes will be permitted at check in.  There are no refunds for shortened stays or later arrivals.  No Shows will be responsible for the entire amount.


Check In

Please note that we do not have a 24 hour check in service.  Check in is between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.  If you will need a later check in, please call to make arrangements.  We are happy to acommodate you.  We can give you the door code and leave the key.  Please note that there is no curfew; guests can enter and leave at their convenience.


Early Check In


If you would like to check in prior to 4:00, please call regarding availability.  You are welcome to check in early if your room is available, please note that a charge of $75 will apply. 


Check Out

Check out is promptly at 11:00 a.m.  To avoid charges, please be mindful of the time.  Thank you for understanding that we need ample time to prepare the room for the next guest.


In order to thoroughly clean our home in time for our next guests, please make sure all belongings are removed from your room by 11:00 a.m.  We are able to hold limited personal items on check out day but all items must be removed by 1:00 p.m.  If you need a place to store your items after 1:00 p.m., you are in luck!  For a small charge of $75, you can keep your room key until 5:00 p.m.  Please inquire as to availability.  If you need to store your belongings after 5:00 p.m., you will be charged the full cost of the room.


Thank you for understanding that we need to adhere to our rules in order to perfom all of our duties in a timely fashion.  Please do not ask us to make an exception to our policies.  Our policies are in place to ensure that everyone has a pleasant experience.  Since we cannot make exceptions for everyone, it is simply not fair to make exceptions for some. 


Most importantly, we want to accommodate everyone and feel badly when we cannot make an exception.  Thank you for your support and understanding.





There will be a $25.00 charge for keys not returned to the front desk.  Upon check out, you must physically return keys at the front desk.  Please do not leave them in the room.  If you leave without returning your key, a $25.00 charge will be charged to the credit card on file.



Free on street parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.  Please follow all posted signage to avoid parking fines/violations.  We do not have reserved parking spaces or a parking lot/garage.


We have a strict NO SMOKING policy.  This includes e-Cigarettes.


Smoking is not permitted in or directly outside of our inn.  This includes our rooms, balconies, and porch.



A complimentary full breakfast is included in the room rate.  Each morning we serve a freshly baked item with assorted cakes, breads, fruit, yogurt, and hot and cold cereals.  We also have juice, a wide assortment of teas, and serve fresh brewed coffee. 


Breakfast is served between 8:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. in our dining room.  Coffee is always available a little earlier though!  We encourage you to relax on our porch and enjoy the ocean views and breezes as you wait for your breakfast to be prepared.


More Information

Please note that our liability insurance prohibits us from furnishing cork screws, wine glasses and other items associated with the consumption of alcohol.  Thank you for your understanding and not asking for these items.  We would love to supply them for your convenience but sadly cannot.


NO SMOKING.  Smoking is not permitted in or around our inn.


Candles, lighters, matches and other flammable items are not permitted in our inn under any circumstances.

This is strictly enforced and may lead to your ejection without a refund.


Coolers are not permitted in the house.  They leak and damage our floors.  You may leave them on the porch or balconies.


GUEST REFRIGERATOR POLICY:  Please note that there is only one refrigerator for the use of all guests.  You may place a few items, but please leave room for the other guests to place a few items as well.


Please be considerate and respectful of others.  Refrain from offensive conduct, loud music, foul language, and heating foul or strong smelling food that will disturb our other guests.  We want everyone to have a wonderful time and appreciate your adherence to this policy.


All reservations must be paid in full at time of booking. 


We do not have televisions in any of our rooms.  


All of our rooms have air conditioning.


We provide free high speed Wireless Internet Access.


We provide bath towels, wash cloths, body wash and shampoo.


We have a few beach chairs available for our guests to borrow.


We do have a beautiful guest lounge and pantry with a refrigerator and microwave for guest use.  There is no access to stove/oven.  Cooking is not permitted except with use of microwave.


We do not provide beach towels.


We do not provide beach umbrellas.


We have a couple of hair dryers available to lend.  There are no hair dryers in the rooms.


We do not have cots.


We do not rent bicycles.


None of our rooms have ocean views.


Please be courteous to other guests and not monopolize the guest refrigerator.


We are not located on the oceanfront.  We are located on the "beach block," just a short 2 block walk to the beach.


Upon returning from the beach, guests are required to use our beautiful, private, outdoor showers.  We provide towels, soap, shampoo, and conditioner for your convenience.  We thank you in advance for keeping our home and (old Victorian) pipes free of sand! 


We are located 2 blocks from the Great Auditorium and 4 blocks from Main Avenue.  We are also walking distance to Asbury Park (the boardwalk, The Stone Pony, and the shops and dining on Cookman Avenue).


Minimum Stays

Please note that we require a two (2) night minimum stay on weekends and a three (3) night minimum stay during holidays and special events.  We are happy to speak with you and accommodate you whenever possible so please do not hesitate to contact us.


Thank you for understanding that we are a seasonal business.


Due to our already reasonable rates and our generous mid-week special discount, we are unable to accept or gift certificates at this time.


Beach Information

Thanks to the generosity of the Camp Meeting Association, we are pleased to offer discounted beach passes to our guests.  Each pass costs $6 per person, per day.  That is a savings of $3.  Only cash is accepted for the purchase of beach passes.


We are located on the beach block.  We are just a short 2 block walk to the beach.  Our porch and balconies offer limited ocean and park views.


Children under 12 are admitted free when accompanied by a responsible adult.


Monday-Saturday beach hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 


Sunday beach hours are 12:00 noon to 5:30 p.m.  


The beach is accessible at other times, however, no lifeguards are on duty.

Due to severe Asthma and allergy issues, we sadly cannot accept pets.  We LOVE to see photos of your pets however!  Please share with us as we love animals.
